Junior IT Service Desk Agent - Business Applications (Freelance possible)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

You will join a remote functional support team of 14 people, organised in sub-teams by domain such as Sales and After-Sales. In this role, you provide support for business applications used in both corporate and dealer environments.

Main tasks:

• Provide first-line support for incidents and questions related to business applications.
• Support users on Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Handle and follow up IT incidents and questions received by phone and through the ticketing tool.
• Escalate issues to other teams or external partners when needed, with a clear description and analysis.
• Create, review and maintain documentation, and draft customer communications.

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 18:00, in shifts (for example 08:00 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 18:00)
• Saturday: 09:00 - 17:00

📝Your profile

You are an IT all-rounder with good analytical skills and a customer-oriented approach. A first experience in a similar helpdesk or 1st-line support role is a plus.

Requirements:

• Basic technical IT background.
• Knowledge of Windows 10/11.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Office 365.
• Experience with ticketing tools such as Jira is a plus.
• Understanding of hardware and networking basics such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Ability to identify the cause of problems in a complex environment and provide effective solutions or workarounds.
• Ability to escalate issues clearly to other teams or partners.
• Strong communication skills and a service-minded attitude.
• Awareness of security and careful incident handling.

Languages:

• Dutch and French are required.
• Good knowledge of English is a plus.
