Senior Corporate Receptionist (Freelance optional)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

You will support the daily operations at the main reception desk of a central building on an industrial site in Hoboken. In this role, you ensure professional visitor reception, smooth telephone handling, and compliance with site access procedures.

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and customers entering the central building and the wider site, including larger groups of 50 to 100 people
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls across the organisation
  • Create visitor badges, assign access rights, register visitors, and deactivate badges at the end of the day
  • Reserve taxis for employees and visitors
  • Handle reception-related administrative tasks, such as sending correspondence, managing visitor PPE, and managing vehicle keys
  • Work closely with security and administrative support teams
  • Occasionally support evening events

Location and working hours

  • On-site in Hoboken
  • Working hours: 07:30-16:15
  • Lunch break: 12:15-13:00
  • 8-hour workday

📝 Your profile

  • Minimum Higher Secondary Education in Reception/Public Relations, or equivalent through experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a large company
  • Experience on an industrial site is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with visitor registration and badge systems is a strong plus
  • Strong skills in MS Office and Microsoft Teams
  • Knowledge of SharePoint is an asset
  • Customer-oriented, polite, and professionally presentable
  • Stress-resistant and communicative
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and able to work independently
  • Accurate, proactive, and able to take initiative
  • Flexible mindset, with occasional support during evening events
  • Dutch: fluent
  • English: fluent
  • French: good to very good
  • German is a strong plus
