Medior Maritime Expeditor (Freelance possible)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

This role supports the operational continuity of the forwarding department.

• Manage and follow up export files from A to Z for various business activities.
• Prepare, collect, and verify all required transport documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Organize maritime export transport and coordinate storage or transshipment when required.
• Ensure goods arrive safely, compliantly, and cost-efficiently at their destination, with strict adherence to IMDG/ADR requirements and waste regulations.
• Monitor new transport opportunities and identify potential process improvements to optimize efficiency.
• Maintain overview and structure while managing multiple export files simultaneously, and remain solution-oriented under time pressure.

📝 Your profile

Technical profile requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent through experience.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and SharePoint.
• Experience with transport software is a plus, but not required.
• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, Incoterms, transport and customs documentation, and regulations related to hazardous goods and waste.
• Experience as an expediteur or junior logistics professional is an asset; junior and medior profiles are welcome, as well as school leavers with a logistics background.
