🛠️ Department Description and responsibilities

As Works Manager, you are responsible for the operational execution of offshore works on site. You work closely with site superintendents and project engineers, and report directly to the project manager. Your focus is on the overall coordination and safe delivery of the works, while the superintendents handle the day-to-day operational follow-up.

In this role, you oversee complex offshore Termination & Testing (T&T) activities, combining engineering insight with hands-on experience in HV cable pull-ins, terminations, testing and commissioning.

Primary tasks and responsibilities:

• Support the offshore execution of the T&T scope, including HV cable pull-ins, terminations and testing activities.
• Provide combined offshore installation management and works management for the T&T package.
• Act as the central point of accountability for HSE, POB and emergency response on site.
• Coordinate and supervise daily HV cable pull-in, termination, testing and commissioning support activities in line with the approved execution plan.
• Communicate clearly with project engineers, project management and other stakeholders.
• Organize the works and ensure all activities are carried out according to the method statement and in a safe manner.
• Monitor project progress accurately and adjust site coordination where needed.
• Support the coordination of on-site operations and optimize execution when required.
• Contribute to budget follow-up and cost control in close collaboration with the project manager.

📝 Your profile

• At least 7 years of relevant offshore work experience.
• Strong project management and planning skills.
• Extensive experience in high-safety environments.
• Good communication skills and the ability to assess planned works critically.
• You work effectively in a team, support colleagues where needed, and are able to lead the workforce in the field.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Offshore Medical Certificate.
• Chester Step certification.
• STCW Basic Safety Training, BOSIET, FOET or an equivalent offshore safety certification.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Dutch is preferred and considered a strong asset.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

📍 Location

Offshore wind farm project located in France, on board an offshore vessel.

📌 Planning

Rotation schedule: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off.
