📋 Tasks and responsibilities
For a part-time assignment in Brussels, you will support the Data Governance and Data Quality programme based on the DCAM framework (EDM Council). You contribute to the creation, validation and rollout of DCAM artefacts, while also helping to execute the related communication and data literacy initiatives.
You advise the organisation on the practical implementation of Data Governance and share hands-on best practices to help embed the approach across teams and data domains.
Responsibilities
- Organise and actively contribute to workshops with business units to collect, structure and document input for DCAM artefacts across multiple data domains.
- Review artefacts against DCAM acceptance criteria and existing templates, and help maintain those templates while monitoring progress against the implementation roadmap.
- Prepare weekly updates and milestone reporting, follow up on open actions, and maintain a central status overview.
- Contribute to communication initiatives such as newsletters and intranet content related to Data Governance and Data Quality.
- Create supporting data literacy materials, including quick reference guides and FAQs.
📝 Your profile
- DCAM certification (EDM Council) is mandatory.
- You have a strong understanding of Data Governance and Data Quality principles.
- You communicate clearly with stakeholders and business users, including audiences with limited familiarity with Data Governance or Data Quality topics.
- You have strong writing skills and are comfortable facilitating collaboration across departments.
- You work in a structured, proactive and detail-oriented way, and can operate independently within a part-time setup.
- Experience with other Data Management frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK or previous involvement in a Data Governance programme rollout is a plus.
- Languages: Dutch or French, and English.
