📋 Tasks and responsibilities
You will join a testing team that plans and executes the SAT test scope and supports broader release-related test activities.
The team contributes input for the setup of test automation scripts and provides first-line analysis of incoming defects linked to major releases. Testing is carried out with a semi-automated tool for sanity and regression coverage, while manual testing is used for functional validation.
The role also involves communication with analysts and external parties in the language of the user, depending on the context: Dutch, French or English.
Testing activities are performed mainly in a waterfall context, with Agile/Scrum ways of working also present and expected to grow over time. The scope covers business-as-usual changes, satellite applications and project-related changes.
The functional domains in scope include:
- Message Exchange (MeX): structure, rectification, measure/bill
- Batch Treatment (BT): infeed & settlement
- Infrastructure changes: upgrades, purging, configuration changes, connectivity changes, etc.
The assignment focuses on the execution of sanity, regression and functional tests, as well as defect logging and follow-up. You also help organize first-line support for major releases and may perform DGO and Market test execution when requested.
In addition, you handle ad hoc requests from analysts when needed.
