- Translate operational and technical needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Carry out impact analyses, feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Define and improve existing processes using AS-IS / TO-BE modelling.
- Work closely with product stakeholders, network engineers, architects and IT teams to ensure consistent solution design.
- Support change activities, functional validation, testing phases and user enablement.
Solution architecture & technical design
- Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business objectives, technical capabilities, enterprise standards and operational constraints.
- Produce and maintain architecture deliverables such as solution designs, architecture diagrams, integration flows, sequence diagrams and technical specifications.
- Define application, data, integration and process architectures for both new and existing solutions.
- Develop target-state architectures that close identified gaps and remain feasible within organisational and technical constraints.
- Define and validate architectures involving APIs, authentication mechanisms, connectivity models and interactions with internal and external systems.
- Refine and document non-functional requirements including availability, performance, scalability, security, resilience, maintainability and auditability.
- Assess architectural options, technologies and integration patterns, weighing feasibility, trade-offs, risks, costs and long-term sustainability.
- Ensure smooth integration between telecom platforms, business applications, databases, middleware, APIs and external systems in line with security, governance, regulatory and operational requirements.
- Participate in architecture reviews, contribute to technology roadmaps, and support or coordinate Proof of Technology and Proof of Concept activities.
- Work closely with development teams throughout the lifecycle, providing guidance on architecture principles, integration standards, design patterns and software engineering best practices.
- Contribute to design decisions involving cloud technologies, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, databases, automation platforms and DevOps/CI-CD practices.
- Use sufficient hands-on technical insight to understand code structures, integration mechanisms, data models and development constraints, and to effectively challenge and support implementation teams.
Coordination & operational support
- Support the design, testing, deployment and implementation of new solutions.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in supported applications and systems.
- Safeguard the stability, efficiency and reliability of critical solutions.

- Communicate complex business and technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor by balancing functional needs with architectural and technical considerations.
- Work autonomously while contributing strongly as a team player.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions and support informed decisions by presenting options, risks, trade-offs and recommendations in a clear way.
