This role combines tactical production planning with logistics coordination and administrative follow-up in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
Supply chain planning
- Develop and maintain the tactical production plan for the medium-term horizon, covering month 3/4 up to 24 months.
- Translate demand into production volumes and carry out rough-cut capacity analyses.
- Allocate resources while anticipating the impact on operating costs and inventory levels.
- Prepare capacity and resource plans for the full manufacturing unit based on proven capabilities or well-founded assumptions, and manage the capacity profile approved during supply review.
- Lead the supply review meeting for the assigned business unit and contribute actively to the wider S&OP process.
- Ensure the Master Production Schedule (MPS) stays aligned with the production plan approved through S&OP.
- Coordinate corrective actions to resolve shortages and resource constraints.
Logistics and administrative support
- Accurately process all documentation related to import shipments in the Excel import file.
- Provide customs clearance instructions to carriers and freight forwarders.
- Prepare transport orders for deliveries under Ex Works or FCA incoterms.
- Coordinate daily domestic transport flows between the site, the external warehouse, the airport and sterilization partners.
- Verify supplier and transport invoices and submit them for approval.
- Review deferred customs documentation for imports in line with applicable AEO control requirements and request corrections when needed.
- Contribute actively to environmental commitments in line with the ISO 14001 policy and apply relevant environmental procedures correctly.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, ISO and all applicable legal and quality standards.
Profile
- Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Economics or Business Management.
- Ideally 2 to 5 years of experience in planning, preferably combined with logistics exposure.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a strong asset.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Strong interest in supply chain planning, with the ability to analyse complex situations and solve problems effectively.
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels in a timely way.
- Strategic mindset combined with a sense of urgency and a hands-on attitude.
- Continuous improvement mindset and openness to change.
- Strong numerical skills, including solid knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint and preferably SQL.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, including SAP, and ideally other planning tools such as Kinaxis.
- Good understanding of advanced planning and S&OP processes.
- Experience with transportation and transport systems is a plus.
- Willingness to support administrative activities when required.
