📋 Tasks and responsibilities
As an IT Project Manager, you coordinate staff and IT equipment relocations in a campus environment. You make sure each move is carefully prepared, clearly communicated and carried out with minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Coordinate relocations: plan, execute and monitor the move of staff, workstations and IT equipment.
- Manage project delivery: create and maintain detailed project plans covering timelines, resources, dependencies and risks.
- Align stakeholders: collaborate with IT, facilities and other internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and quick resolution of concerns.
- Oversee logistics: coordinate move activities, deliveries and setup so equipment and services are available on time.
- Communicate proactively: provide clear status updates, practical guidance and follow-up on issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate vendors: work with external service providers to ensure timely delivery, installation and support of IT equipment and related services.
- Ensure compliance: make sure all activities follow internal policies as well as data security, health and safety requirements.
- Solve problems quickly: identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot operational or technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Support team collaboration: encourage teamwork, address conflicts constructively and help maintain focus on project objectives.
📝 Your profile
- Previous experience as an IT Project Manager at medior level.
- Proven IT project experience, ideally in relocation projects or similar operational environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to act as a communication-focused point of contact for multiple stakeholders.
- Very good command of project management tools, including Microsoft Project.
- Good understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers and storage.
- Experience in vendor and service-provider coordination.
- Strong organizational, documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2 or a similar project management certification is an asset.
- Professional working proficiency in Dutch, English and French.
- Availability to work on site at least 4 days per week.
