SAP CO Migration Specialist (Freelance possible)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

For a large-scale SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation, we are looking for an experienced consultant within the Controlling domain. In this role, you will contribute to the migration toward a centralized SAP S/4HANA environment and support the delivery of a robust, scalable controlling setup in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

A strong understanding of the integration between Controlling and Manufacturing is essential.

Primary tasks and responsibilities

• Support the migration of cost centers
• Support the migration of profit centers
• Handle the Controlling-related part of stock migration
• Prepare, simulate, migrate and validate product costing together with business stakeholders
• Perform reconciliation of balances and P&L after migration

Technical profile requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in SAP CO
• Technical knowledge allowing you to read and understand ABAP
• Functional migration experience, including cost center migration, profit center migration, product cost simulation, migration and validation
• Technical migration experience, including creation and execution in LSMW and/or Migration Cockpit
• Strong functional and business process understanding

• Ability to manage several priorities at the same time
• Capable of expressing viewpoints clearly while remaining open to compromise
• Experience working in an international and multicultural environment
• Able to work independently, take ownership and escalate when appropriate

Methodology/Certification requirements

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance or a related field
• SAP certification is considered a plus
• Relevant experience is valued more highly than certification

Language proficiencies

• Fluent English, both spoken and written
• Dutch is preferred

Location

• Based in Hoboken
• Minimum 3 days per week onsite presence required
