đ Tasks and responsibilities
We are looking for a senior Transformation Manager with a strong focus on organisation design and organisational effectiveness. In this role, you act as a strategic partner to business leaders, HR Business Partners and specialist HR teams, helping to shape clear, scalable organisational frameworks and operating models that support strategic objectives.
You will contribute to the way work is structured and governed across the organisation, including spans and layers, reporting lines, job architecture and workforce alignment. The role also includes strengthening organisation design capabilities through practical tools, training and data-driven insights.
- Organisation Design & Operating Model Development
- Translate business and functional strategy into organisation design principles, frameworks and target structures.
- Apply existing career framework principles, including job families, functions and sub-functions, to evolve operating models and improve role clarity.
- Design and optimise organisational structures, roles, reporting lines, spans and layers to improve efficiency, agility and scalability.
- Assess the impact of structural changes on people, processes, governance, cost and risk, and define mitigation and transition actions.
- Work closely with relevant HR stakeholders to align levelling, reward structures, career paths and succession implications with the future-state design.
- Data Analysis & Strategic Insights
- Provide evidence-based insights to HR partners and senior business leaders to support workforce alignment and structural decisions.
- Analyse organisational data such as spans and layers, workforce distribution and cost structures to identify optimisation opportunities and compare scenarios.
- Translate findings into clear recommendations and decision-ready narratives.
- Coach HR partners and line managers in interpreting organisational analytics and using insights to improve team effectiveness and accountability.
- Process, Tools & Capability Building
- Develop and maintain scalable organisation design tools, templates and methodologies.
- Facilitate workshops to co-create organisation designs, align stakeholders, clarify accountabilities and define decision rights and governance.
- Build organisation design capability across HR and business leadership through training, learning materials and hands-on coaching.
- Safeguard data integrity and reliability within organisation design systems and reporting sources.
- Reporting & Governance
- Create dashboards and recurring reports on key organisational metrics, such as spans and layers, structural cost impact and change impact tracking.
- Define and drive governance for structural changes to ensure consistency with organisation design principles and strategic workforce planning.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Change Enablement
- Partner with HR, Talent Management, Finance and business leaders to align organisation design initiatives with budgets, workforce plans and operational priorities.
- Support the adoption of new structures and operating models through structured communication, training and transition planning.
Technical profile requirements
- 10+ years of experience in organisation design, operating model development, job architecture, transformation or related consulting or enterprise roles.
- Strong expertise in organisation design and effectiveness methodologies, including organisational models, operating model design, spans and layers analysis, workforce sizing and job architecture.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative input, model scenarios and translate conclusions into practical recommendations.
- Good knowledge of job architecture, levelling and the link with reward structures and career frameworks.
- Strong process optimisation skills, with the ability to simplify, redesign and standardise for greater scalability and clarity.
- Proficiency in HR systems and organisational analytics or reporting tools, including HRIS reporting, dashboards and org modelling or visualisation platforms.
- Advanced facilitation skills, with the ability to design and lead workshops that create alignment, problem-solving and co-creation.

Methodology/Certification requirements
- Minimum Bachelorâs degree in Business, HR, Psychology, Communications, IT, Engineering or a related field.
- A Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Change management certification and/or experience supporting the adoption of structural or operating model change is an asset.
Language proficiencies
- Advanced or fluent English, both spoken and written.
- Additional languages such as Dutch, French or German are an asset, depending on stakeholder geography.
Location
- Remote work is possible.
- If locally based, onsite presence in Brussels is required 3 days per week.
- If based outside the local area, regular travel to Brussels and Germany is expected.
- Travel expenses can be reimbursed in line with the applicable travel policy.
