Senior SAP WM-STRM-IM Logistics Specialist (Freelance)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

You will contribute to a large-scale SAP transformation programme in which multiple decentralized SAP ECC environments are being consolidated into a centralized SAP S/4HANA landscape. Within the logistics domain, you will support the harmonization of warehouse and inventory processes across several business units and locations, while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and related SAP domains.

• Lead end-to-end SAP WM-STRM-IM implementations within the transformation programme.
• Ensure integration of logistics processes with other SAP domains such as MM, SD, PP and QM.
• Support business-facing activities and help facilitate decision-making.
• Translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Prepare and maintain SAP WM-STRM-IM configuration documents and technical specifications.
• Conduct system testing and validation activities.
• Work in both custom-built and template-based SAP environments.
• Support change requests and tickets when project capacity allows.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior consultants where applicable.

Your profile

Technical profile requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP WM-STRM-IM projects.
• Proven track record in end-to-end SAP WM-STRM-IM implementations and integration with other domains.
• Experience with structured documentation and blueprinting.
• Debugging skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with both custom-built and template-based SAP environments.
• EWM knowledge or experience is an asset.

Methodology / certification requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• SAP certification is an advantage.
• Practical experience is considered more important than certification.

Language proficiencies

• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Comfortable working in an international environment.

Location

• Presence is expected on Belgian sites, including Brussels.
• Minimum 3 days per week onsite.
• An onsite presence of around 80% may be expected for this role.
