📋 Tasks and responsibilities
We are looking for a junior full-stack developer to reinforce delivery teams working on the development, integration, and evolution of critical digital services in the public sector.
The assignment focuses on building and improving interoperable, secure, and scalable solutions that support collaboration and information exchange between organizations. This includes new feature development, enhancement of existing platforms, and the application of modern software engineering practices.
- Develop and maintain business-critical applications and shared digital services.
- Build application components, APIs, and web services.
- Contribute to the application architecture and technical building blocks in collaboration with technical leads and solution architects.
- Participate in technical workshops, Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and stakeholder meetings.
- Support testing, technical documentation, deployments, quality assurance, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to align business and technical requirements.
- Help ensure compliance with security, performance, interoperability, and quality standards.
- Contribute to the integration of internal and external systems through APIs and service-oriented architectures.
- Support the modernization and optimization of existing applications and technical platforms.
📝 Your profile
You have experience as a junior application developer and are comfortable working in an Agile delivery environment.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Java software development.
- Experience in complex multi-system environments and large-scale digital transformation contexts.
- Experience in public sector environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of Java and Spring Framework.
- Experience with Spring Boot, JPA / Hibernate, RESTful web services and API-oriented development.
- Familiarity with Angular and full-stack web development.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
- Experience with JMS is an asset.
- Familiarity with Docker and application deployment practices.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies and tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Spring Test or Cypress.
- Understanding of OpenAPI / Swagger, OAuth 2.0, Maven, Git, GitLab CI/CD, SonarQube, NPM, Flyway or Liquibase is an asset.
- Exposure to OpenShift / Kubernetes, WebLogic, BPMN, UML, Jira and Confluence is a plus.
- Knowledge of architectural concepts such as SOA, Backend-for-Frontend and CQRS is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A team-oriented, proactive and quality-focused mindset.
- Ability to understand existing codebases quickly and communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
