Senior MuleSoft Integration Analyst (Employed or freelance)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced MuleSoft analyst to help strengthen and evolve an API-led integration environment built on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

In this role, you will mainly work on new integrations, maintenance, optimisation and the continuous improvement of the existing integration landscape. Your responsibilities include:

• Safeguarding the continuity, stability and reliability of the current MuleSoft-based integration platform.
• Maintaining, refactoring and improving existing integration flows in line with API-led architecture principles.
• Designing and supporting new integration solutions based on REST and SOAP APIs.
• Working closely with functional teams, integration analysts and architects to analyse business needs and support critical processes.
• Contributing to the design of integration architectures and solutions.
• Providing technical expertise and troubleshooting in a complex hybrid environment.
• Supporting the full lifecycle of integrations, including incident resolution, performance optimisation, testing, deployment and documentation.

📝 Your profile

• You have experience as a functional analyst within integration projects.
• You are fluent in Dutch or French and have a good command of the other language at B2 level.
• You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written.
• You have hands-on experience with MuleSoft integration projects and the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, for example as a functional analyst or solution architect.
• You have experience with API-led design and API design, including REST and SOAP services.
• You have contributed to at least one integration project.
• You are familiar with the design of integration architectures and solutions.
• You know how to work with a modelling tool.
• You are comfortable with testing methodologies and techniques, especially integration and functional testing.
• You have experience with common integration tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
• You are familiar with the Atlassian toolset, including Jira.
• MuleSoft Certified Developer (Level 1) is an asset.
• You bring proven experience as an integration lead or architect.
