Senior IAM Engineer - PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud (Implementation & Infrastructure) (Freelance possible)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

Role Overview:

As a Senior IAM Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical execution, configuration, and infrastructure of a new Ping Identity-based IAM platform. Working closely with the IAM Architect, you will bridge the gap between architectural design and operational reality, ensuring a robust, automated, and secure deployment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Platform Engineering: Build and maintain the IAM platform using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Technical Implementation: Configure and deploy protocols including SAML, OIDC, SCIM, RBAC, and ABAC within the IAM ecosystem.
• Infrastructure Management: Set up and manage version control and deployment environments for IAM development.
• Onboarding & Integration: Lead the technical onboarding of business applications and integrate them with the platform.
• Resilience & Recovery: Implement technical controls for RPO/RTO and set up disaster recovery for the IAM environment.
• Zero-Trust Execution: Align the IAM platform technically with the defined Zero-Trust architecture.
• Agile Technical Delivery: Participate in all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

📝 Your profile

Experience as: Expert DevOps / Cloud Engineer

Required Technical Profile:

• Minimum 6 months of demonstrable experience in IAM engineering and infrastructure.
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Cryptanalysis & Forensics.
• Certified Professional - PingAM.
• Identity Manager - Technical Specialist.
• Proven experience working in Scrum or Kanban teams.
• Ability to deliver code and documentation that meet the Definition of Done (DoD).
• Experience with Agile tooling such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps.
• Expertise in version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and Ansible.
• Specific experience with PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud is highly preferred.
