Team Lead Policy Servicing - Group Life Insurance

For this role, you will provide team leadership within group life policy servicing and underwriting activities, with a strong focus on operational continuity, quality control and process improvement.

📝 Description of the Mission

  • Mission title: Group Life - Team Lead Policy Servicing
  • Mission objective: temporary backfill support within the team

📌 Expected Deliverables

At the start of the assignment, the main priorities include:

  • Coordinating the policy servicing and underwriting team
  • Establishing a monitoring structure for the TechCom-related scope
  • Performing the internal controls that fall under the team lead's responsibility
  • Defining and following up an action plan to reduce the “Not In Time” backlog and help stabilize the team workload
  • Taking on additional objectives as progress is made

🛠️ Expected Role & Responsibilities During the Mission

  • Lead and coordinate the team to deliver weekly activities in line with team targets, regulatory deadlines and service levels
  • Organize weekly follow-up meetings and monitor operational KPIs
  • Carry out internal controls and contribute to process reliability
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operational coordination to support key deliveries and workload management
  • Work closely with commercial and technical stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes, team performance and service quality
  • Manage multiple files and priorities while ensuring deadlines are respected
  • Support clear stakeholder communication and structured case follow-up

📝 Description of the Expected Profile

📌 Knowledge

  • Knowledge of coverage types such as life, death, disability and hospitalization
  • Strong understanding of how a group insurance contract operates
  • Knowledge of regulations linked to extralegal benefits and taxation
  • Familiarity with Sigedis processes

  • Clear communication: able to communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure transparency, accuracy and mutual understanding
  • Case management: capable of handling several files in parallel while respecting legal deadlines and setting the right priorities
  • Operational and KPI management: able to monitor activities, structure follow-up and support performance management
  • Internal controls and process improvement: experienced in applying controls and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency
  • Team coordination and leadership: able to guide daily team activities, align priorities and support collaboration
  • Use of internal tools: comfortable working with Excel, Word, Outlook and central systems or mainframe tools to manage and track files
