SAP ABAP Developer - Fiori (Employed or freelance)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

This role sits within a digital solutions department that supports core business activities through IT systems and process-oriented applications. The team focuses on solutions used by functions such as HR, Finance, Purchasing, Logistics and Communication.

You will join an ERP team of approximately fifteen professionals, including project managers, functional analysts and developers. In this position, you contribute to the evolution and maintenance of SAP-based solutions, working closely with business and technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with business analysts and architects to define appropriate technical solutions.
• Translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Estimate the effort required for enhancements and changes.
• Analyse the technical impact of requested changes on the existing landscape.
• Implement adaptations and new developments in line with approved specifications.
• Help ensure continuity of service and long-term maintainability of the solution.
• Keep technical and reference documentation up to date.
• Prepare and execute unit test plans.
• Work in accordance with established methods, standards and procedures.

👤 Your profile

• You have at least 10 years of experience as an ABAP developer, including ABAP and ABAP OO.
• You have at least 3 years of proven experience with SAP FIORI.
• You bring strong experience with SAP Workflows.
• You have worked with SAP modules such as SD, EWM, MM, FI, CO and PM.
• You have experience with SAP Web Dynpro.
• You are familiar with interface middleware and Web Services.
• You have experience with Smartforms and/or Adobe Forms.
• You have worked with SAP S/4HANA.
• You are fluent in at least one of the two national languages: Dutch or French.
• You work in a structured and precise manner.
• You are efficient, flexible and quality-oriented in your execution.
• You combine listening skills with analytical thinking, synthesis ability, customer focus and result orientation.
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in the energy sector is an asset.

Important: proven SAP FIORI experience of at least 3 years is required for this role.
