Senior High & Low Voltage Electrical Technician

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

This role supports the safe operation, maintenance and continuity of the site's electrical distribution networks. The high- and low-voltage distribution network is essential to site safety, operational continuity and technical performance.

Main responsibilities

• Support the maintenance of transformers, switches and electrical installations.
• Prepare, plan and execute electrical work in line with safety procedures, legislation, internal standards and technical regulations.
• Help ensure the safe operation of the high- and low-voltage distribution network and the continuity of power supply across the site.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to detect issues early and avoid downtime.
• Replace parts and carry out installations, mainly in high voltage, with low-voltage work also included.
• Work closely with colleagues during high-voltage activities in line with the four-eye principle.
• Supervise and follow up work carried out by external contractors, ensuring correct execution and safety compliance.
• Ensure accurate documentation and registration of all technical and administrative data related to completed work and observations.

Location and availability

• Olen - 100% onsite presence is required.
• Start date: ASAP; a notice period is not a problem.

📝 Your profile

Technical profile

• Technical degree, preferably in electrotechnics.
• Proven experience with high-voltage systems.
• Proven experience with industrial low-voltage systems and industrial installations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience in an industrial environment.
• Able to document actions and technical findings accurately.
• Able to interpret technical documentation in Dutch and English.

Methodology / Certification requirements

• BA4/BA5 - provided internally.
• VCA is mandatory.
• Familiarity with AREI.
• Familiarity with ATEX.

Language proficiencies

• Dutch: fluent.
• English: able to read and understand technical documentation.
