Our client is a global materials technology and recycling group, with a mission to reduce harmful emissions, power the cars of the future, and give new life to used metals. Our Information Systems department plays a crucial role in supporting our sustainability goals and business operations.


Project Description
As part of our organization’s transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, we are implementing SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) to optimize and modernize our logistics operations. While the TM Basic functionalities are already in place, we are now entering the next phase and expanding into advanced TM capabilities.
We are seeking an experienced SAP TM Advanced Consultant who will play a key role in the continued rollout, enhancement, integration, and support of SAP TM within a complex SAP landscape.

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities

- Leading SAP TM workshops and fit-gap analysis sessions with business and IT stakeholders.
- Configuring and testing advanced TM flows.
- Writing detailed functional and technical design documents for TM-specific developments.
- Supporting the setup of TM interfaces with logistics partners (custom-built or provider-based, including SAP LBN).
- Supporting and validating integration points between SAP TM and other SAP modules (e.g., eWM, GTS, …).
- Handling cross-domain topics, collaborating with other functional and technical teams.
- Providing 1st-line go-live support during deployment waves and hypercare.


Technical Profile Requirements

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP TM, with strong exposure to advanced functionalities.
- Solid understanding of ABAP (ability to read and interpret code).
- Strong functional expertise across logistics and transportation business processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA TM is a strong advantage.
- Experience with interfaces, especially logistics partners and SAP LBN, is preferred.

Methodology / Certification Requirements

- Knowledge of or experience with SAP Activate or similar project methodologies.
- SAP TM or SAP S/4HANA certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience in structured testing methodologies (e.g., FIT/SIT/UAT) is preferred.


Language Proficiencies

- English: mandatory
- Dutch: preferred

- Mandatory onsite presence : min 3 days per week onsite


Contract & Practical Details
Full-time contract.
Start: ASAP
End: June 2027
