📋 Tasks and responsibilities

Senior IT Project Manager

As an experienced IT Project Manager, you will take the lead on a large-scale server migration initiative. You will be responsible for structuring, coordinating and driving the project through to successful delivery, while working closely with internal stakeholders and external technology partners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage the project in line with agreed objectives, timelines and priorities.
• Lead a large-scale server migration project and align all involved parties on scope, milestones and delivery expectations.
• Oversee project execution and ensure adherence to recognized project management standards such as PMBOK, PRINCE2 or comparable methodologies.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, platform, development and support-related teams to prepare and schedule application migrations.
• Gather business and technical needs from stakeholders and translate them into pragmatic project actions and solutions.
• Act as the central point of contact for project communication, both internally and with external partners.
• Manage risks, identify blockers early and define appropriate mitigation actions.
• Monitor reporting, progress, budget follow-up and project results for stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration across project teams and ensure smooth stakeholder management throughout the assignment.
• Take into account IT processes, infrastructure dependencies, network considerations and IT security constraints during project planning and execution.

📝 Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Management or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in IT project management.
• Senior-level experience in managing IT projects, stakeholder communication, planning and organization.
• Strong knowledge of IT processes and project management methodologies.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networks and IT security solutions.
• Experience with reporting, risk management and coordination of multiple stakeholders.
• Fluency in French, Dutch and English.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proactive, stress-resistant and result-driven.

Work location

Hybrid working model: office presence in Brussels combined with homeworking.
