Project Engineer Clean Utilities (Freelance possible)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

As Project Engineer Clean Utilities, you are responsible for the conceptual, basic and detailed engineering of clean utilities projects in a pharmaceutical environment. You define a clear project scope and develop designs in line with applicable standards, while coordinating closely with internal stakeholders.

• Manage the purchase, start-up and verification of installations.
• Coordinate and supervise the installation of equipment and piping.
• Execute verification and validation tests and ensure complete documentation.
• Safeguard safety and quality throughout project execution.
• Prepare detailed planning for the utilities scope and align it with the overall project or operational planning.

Qualifications

You have a master's degree as a civil engineer, industrial engineer, bio-engineer, industrial pharmacist, or equivalent experience, preferably in a scientific field such as biochemistry or biotechnology.

• Experience with clean utilities in the pharmaceutical sector is required.
• Experience in formulation or preparation is a plus.
• Hands-on validation experience is considered an asset.

This role focuses on the reliable execution of operational responsibilities within established procedures, with attention to quality, accuracy and timely delivery. You contribute to team objectives, collaborate with related workstreams and support continuous improvement initiatives.
