Senior IT Buyer (Freelance optional)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

We are looking for an IT Buyer to join a dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end sourcing process for IT-related procurement needs, including the RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) stages.

The procurement organization acts as a strategic partner to the business by delivering indirect procurement and related support services through efficient processes, strong collaboration and suitable technologies.

Primary tasks and responsibilities

• Manage the entire sourcing process from A to Z, including RFI, RFP and supplier selection.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality and delivery.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Draft, review and manage contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand IT procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Maintain and update procurement records and documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant industry regulations.

📝Your profile

• Strong track record in managing the full sourcing process.
• Experience with contract drafting, review and management.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP Ariba is a very strong plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, or equivalent through experience.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Dutch is a plus.

Location

Ability to work onsite in Hoboken or Brussels for 3 days a week, with 2 days of remote work.

Onsite presence in both locations can be requested for meetings.
